Orange

It’s not just in our logo. It’s one of our biggest values!

We like to say that if the color RED represents the heart of the home… and if YELLOW represents the light of the church… then ORANGE is what you get when the family and the church combine their influences and work together for the good of the next generation.

A child will spend exponentially more time with their family throughout their growing-up years than they will spend in church environments. Since we care deeply about giving every child the best chance at knowing God’s love for them and learning to live and love like Jesus, the best thing we can do is equip and resource their family. The most effective disciple-makers of the next generation are the grownups they share life with on an everyday basis - parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends, etc.

Grownups, you can do it! And we can help. We can help you disciple the kids you love in a variety of ways:

We equip YOU to grow as a disciple. More is caught than taught, so the way you live as a follower of Jesus makes a big impact on how the kids and students in your life will grow in their faith. In addition to our Sunday morning gatherings, we offer a variety of groups to help you to grow in your faith. We also have 10 Practices for Becoming that, when practiced regularly, will help you live out an everyday faith in your kids’ lives.

We offer environments and experiences for kids and students designed to reinforce your disciple-making efforts at home. Our GoKids and Student Ministry programs help the next generation understand who God is, how he loves, and how they can join him in what He’s doing in the world.

We resource you to continue the conversation at home. Through our Parent Cue app, Meadow Heights Families Facebook group, and parent email list, we keep you informed on what we’re talking about in our GoKids and Student Ministry environments and provide you with practical ideas for how to go deeper in the regular rhythms of your family’s week. We also keep you informed on any family ministry events that are coming up that you don’t want to miss.

Ready to jump in? Here are some next steps that can help:

For children from birth through 5th grade, our GoKids program provides age-appropriate fun, connection, and learning activities during our Sunday morning gatherings. Stop by the GoKids registration desk or email gokids@meadowheights.com if you have question or to check in your child for a gathering

For students from 6th through 12th grades, we have our XLR8 (middle school) and Velocity (high school) student ministry programs. Students gather on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of every month through the school year. Our student ministry emphasizes connecting every student with a consistent leader and a small group of their peers to support and encourage them as they practice living out their faith in the middle and high school phases. Email students@meadowheights.com to get your teenager connected to a small group.
