OUR BIG
DREAM
Let’s break it down.
We EQUIP people to BECOME — everything we do in our Groups and Gatherings is to help people be with Jesus so we can learn from Jesus how to love like Jesus and live as he would live our lives if he lived in the 573.
YOU have to want it, of course, but if you do, a complete toolkit to help nurture a growing faith in your real life in real time is now available to you. You will be able to identify the actions that indicate your faith is real—to you and to people around you.
We call them Ten Practices for Becoming and they are game changers.
You can indeed become the most loving version of yourself.
Becoming the most loving version of ourselves makes us an unstoppable SOURCE of God’s LOVE that CHANGES our world.
As it turns out, God is just like Jesus and infinite, unconditional love is the point of everything. God’s love is the most transformational force in the universe when it gets expressed through PEOPLE just like you.
If that makes your heart race a little faster, then you’ll probably love being along for this adventure as we equip people to become an unstoppable source of God’s love that changes our world.
That Big Dream really is the most important thing to know about us.
People sometimes wonder, "What kinds of things do we do at Meadow Heights?" The answer is pretty easy—we Gather and Group. That's it. That's all we do.
Gatherings are one-off, potentially recurring, events.
The Sunday gatherings are the most frequent and obvious. But we'll also gather for breakfast, with our kids at the waterpark, or for BBQ and Baptism. At times we simply hangout as a church family.
Groups are ongoing, potentially time-limited, relationships.
We have groups for parents and groups for couples. Groups that help us grow in self- and God-awareness and groups to help us understand scripture and each other. Many of us group every time we serve on a team.
Every Gathering and Group is intentional, designed to help us learn from Jesus how to love like Jesus and live as Jesus, which is the only way our Big Dream comes true.
But we also meet new people, make good friends, and stay better connected to our church family. That makes it easier to remember who we are as God's people and that we're part of a much bigger tribe committed to his kingdom of love.
